Time to Crop-Foxtailing

I'm pheno hunting and a couple of my 6 in flower seem to be showing active foxtailing. Since they keep growing buds over the original cola I'm not sure when to crop. When I see whispy white hairs I don't think its ready. I'm going into week 9 of flower and they are very bulky. Attached is an example of what I'm talking about.

I wanna hear the answer as well. I would almost just let them keep on going if nothings crispy

Scope the trichs. That’s always the answer. Not the top of the top bud but somewhere on the side of a lower bud.

Looks like it started to reveg weeks ago then back to bloom.

I think its genetic, light cycle is solid. Trichomes are getting amber and cloudy on top

Agreed, it is showing signs of cloudy and amber.

Then ignore fresh pistils and foxtail.

Thats what I was thinking. It smells great and is sticky as hell. It's a DNA Genetics Kosher Cookies fem seed.

If trichomes are mostly cloudy I say chop whenever. Do it just as lights come on for the least water content. Easier drying.

Actually it is massive now! I'm in the desert so humidity isn't an issue. Slow drying is the bugaboo.
