Thrips & Spider Mites Day 14 of Flowering

Hello! So earlier in veg i was battling spider mites and fungus gnats and i seemed to get it under control. I just realized though there are a few spider mites and thrips appeared on my leaves.

At this stage in flowering is it still ok to treat with NEEM/silica foliar spraying every 3 days for a week or so?

I would assume neem is going to burn. Try some purecrop1 every couple days, add in some spinoside too if you can.

Why would neem burn ? I have panic sprayed up to 10% oil in water and been fine the key to oil is turn lights low or they burn yes

Spino is best amazing shit though you are correct on that and safe to use till harvest

also molasses h2o2 , is safe as they even wash buds at harvest in it i wouldn’t but it’s in the book

mollasses feeds plants and explodes mites h2o2 dissolves their eggs and webs

I made an insecticide that’s registered in cali it’s consists of cotton seed oil tape seed oil geraniol terpine peppermint oil and rosemary oil
mixed to water weak and surfactant it kills everything and lasts forever n smells Fukien great


lavender flower spray also hurts them


find a daisy field white n yellow look At leaves if they look ferny then dry the flowers chop em up and steep in water
I use this for chickens and fleas it’s safe for everyone except cats , 30 seconds adter spraying every mite goes into a seizure that lasts 1 hour 15 then they die from dehydration it’s so cool to watch
I am getting some today kills chicken mites n fleas dog fleas u can spray ya carpets asking as ya don’t have a cat

thing Is ppl treat their groom and not the floor ceilings clothes etc outside so you renting them in

I go as far as spraying all the neighbours gardens and yards n tell em why I am spraying garden outside walls the lot

as above with regards to the neem burning, only way that can happen is if you put a plant with wet patches under the lights, tiny droplets of water act like tiny magnifying glasses and burn the leaves.
can you put up a pic of the infected areas?
get yourself some spidermite preditors, spraying on flowering plants is never a good move, as you will end up smokeing it .

Neem ( same with spinosad ) has shown like many traditional pesticides to have pest resistant issues if used too often. Plus u aren’t suppose to use neem after buds formed aka 2-3rd week flower

get predators or other biocontrols like Grandevo/pfr-97 and venerate = those products can be used in flower but also won’t give pest a resistance over time

Just ordered 50 ladybugs to release in there!
It's a 5x5 tent with 5 no till living soil 12g pots.

Will apply neem oil around the leafs, stems and soil, very carefully to not touch the forming flowers in the mean time as they are a week away.

Even if the neem doesn’t burn, you’ll have that smell/taste in your flower. Pirate bugs will go after thrips but I don’t know about spider mites.

Pirate bugs just knocked the crap out of some thrip issues I was having this spring. From what I read they will kill other bugs even if not hungry. I highly recommend getting some pirates.

given the stage you’re in you have to get this checked fast! Either way you’re going to hurt the flowers or end yields to an extent. But NOW is the time to give them hell and annilhiate them..
Use Spinosad as a root drench. That covers the larvae in the soil as well. (Also systemic)

Spray Dr.Zymes ora citric acid mix for the mites. Every 3 days at least 3-4 times.

Ladybugs are cool but are a waste of time. You are in flower stage now. You have to intervene more aggressively. The only way is to eradicate them completely at every stage from larvae to adults or suffer diminished fruit and possibly the whole crop if it gets too out of control.

I would blast them with a a 75-25 mix of 92% alcohol and water...the alcohol will kill all living parasites and penetrate the eggs...the alcohol evaporates quickly and really doesn't harm the plants...works great...wish I knew this a long time ago...getting into flower really sucks to treat these bastards...probably two treatments and good to go.

I also agree with @CaliRootz88 Dr. Zymes is some amazing stuff...and since it's other uses are for washing an outdoor crop after chopping...it can be used at any phase of the plants life cycle.
They also deliver within 1 day on direct orders

Ladybirds are wild harvested. We should stay away from using ladybirds.

Yeah I actually want to find predator mites but being based in Thailand I'm struggling to find them, ladybugs I could recognise the photos!

Don't use neem oil while your plant is in flower. Only if you want neem flavor weed.
