This stuff work?

I was in Petsmart yesterday and noticed this system by the live plants.

So what do you all think? It was 33 bucks for the system and 7 for for the 3 pack refills. Could this be applied to a DWC system growing MJ?

you should buy it and run a trail on it..and let us know..that would save some money..

IMHO....I don't think so.

This system is designed for underwater plants. That is, you have to introduce CO2 into the water for the plants to absorb it, whereas, our plants need absorb CO2 from the air. With this system, you would be adding CO2 to the roots, which need Oxygen. You would probably just suffocate the roots. Does that make sense? If I am wrong, please tell me.

I was thinking the same thing as you, only with a really advanced(and EXPENSIVE) system that is used for aquariums...Now, if you could find a way of boosting the oxygen levels in your water without blowing up your house.....
