I think of it like 3 meat and veg is your staples - but, having pudding and entrees help supplement.

N.P.K are your staples, Some of these micro (trace)-elements are Calcium (“Ca”), Magnesium (“Mg”), Sulfur (“S”), Manganese (“Mn”), Boron (“B”), Zinc (“Zn”), and Copper (“Cu”).

Something like that.

Micro nutrients are often needed if you run Reverse Osmosis water since it takes everything out of your tap.

There are some good bases out there that dont require suppliments, but you get what you give!

they are just the less used elements. all plants need small amounts of them to grow healthy but too much will surely kill shit. generally not a issue in most soil grows or when you use tap water.
which may explain why my plant suffered a somewhat small deal of cupping and minor root burn and small burn like spots on leaves while in the first two weaks of life. I used tap water for drainage while seed germinated which also could be the reason why it may have grown huge in less then two weaks under just 3 cfls flowering bulbs. Just a thought. I still am learning to put different knowledge in their perspective places.

I've used tap water mostly and give tiger bloom here an there I have a 9/58/8 fert that I mix tiger bloom with at low levels but my leaves are always dark green tryin to see if I'm giving to much N still or if its jus the nature of this particular plant
