Put your hand under the light. Don't call anyone, you be the judge. Best to put a thermometer at different levels below your light. You cannot destroy your plant with too much light but heat yes you can! Check with thermometer and the sweet spot for small plants is 26c or less and bigger is 28 Celsius or less
Thanks, but I heard that QB lights can easily burn a plant, they are unlike the HPS and other LEDs supposedly, it is actually pretty cool in there and I can put my hand very close to the light
A cannabis plant will show tell-tale signs of too much light. Not only that, plants with too much light will slurp up more nutrients than normal, so another side effect of too much light is significant burn from over-feeding. Because the plants are overworking, they'll also show signs of nutrient deficiency. Adding more nutrients won't fix things though, as the problem is too much light.

What you are referring to is the heat or radiation levels of the light. I suggest you take a look at some outdoor king kongs and see how tall they get. What you call tall and lanky is very normal. The curvy leaves are due to past growing and bending towards the sidelights, yes not only do branches bend so does the leaves
They're using LEDs. Heat on the back of the hand isn't the way to measure distance to the lights like it is with other lighting technologies like HID.
