Ready for harvest. Did pure ro water flush last night and today. Thinking I might skip flawless finish considering I used on 25% of recommended fertilizer and my ppm cam back zero after flushing

Well the trichomes are turning amber and its week 9. I change reservoir every two weeks. I always start flushing near the end.
Ok. Are you checking the trichomes on the leaves or on the calyxes? That plant has 3-4 weeks to go probably.

Also, flushing does not help improve taste, smoothness or potency in any way. There have been recent studies proving that and I also did a side by side comparison of two same-strain plants. All the leaves died on flushed plant, less yield but same flavour and aromas because I dried and cured them properly (It would have been more accurate comparison if they were clones of course).

It all comes down drying and curing. If you're flushing, you're depriving your plant of nutrients DURING THE MOST CRITICAL part of it's life. You cannot just "flush nutrients" out of the bud.

I use flawless finish usually at the end. You dont think flushing help removes salts and forces plants to use those left-overs? Wow 3 to 4 more weeks. The amber trichomes are on the like partial leaves coming out the bud.

Trichomes mature way faster on the leaves than the bud itself. I tell you, if you have patience you will be rewarded. That plant has a lot of swelling up to go through. She will pack the most size during the last weeks. It would be almost a crime to chop this early.when-to-harvest-cannabis-diagram.jpg

I’m pretty close to where you are right now and I’m waiting a week. I want that last cluster of white hairs to turn brown.

Getting anxious. Just another check. The odor is more cheesy onion instead of floral.
I see them everyday so I'm not seeing much change.
