Things I could improve on?

So this is my second ever. I did it with trellis nets. 15 gallon fabric pots advanced nutrients bloom micro grow and big bud right now. Equal parts dirt vermiculite and peat moss. 400w hps for flowering and MH I had for flowering. I lollipopped I think it’s called. Forcing the tops. But I’m wondering what I do with the canopy once buds get bigger. Don’t they need extra room? I’m in Colorado so it’s easy to make adjustments. But will my bud get bigger at this is the first day of week 3 flowering.
