2nd grow
600W MH Lumatek, DIY/GH Hydro setups

The one under the attention and needs advice is a Mystery lady from a seed bank.
I had the hydro system get clogged from salts 2 weeks ago and this one didn't have water for over 6 hours one day.I flushed, washed, cleared the clog and the plant continued growing good so i never thought of checking it's trunk until it's performance has decreased the last day or two, so i thought i would poke around and found this!
The main part of the stalk is very thin, brown and doesn't look good at all... and it will die soon...,Is it saveable? Should I clone the damn thing now?? is it cloneable?, Has anyone seen this or dealt with this before?

Because the damn plant looks so good! i would hate to loose it

Thanks Fellas, Ladies, in Advance!

I too share this problem as the OP. I have no idea what it is but I'm about 5-6 weeks in with clone-able branches sprouting. Any answers will also help my problem. Thanks in advance

Last night, I staked it up, I also rubbed gently with my fingers the brown area that appeared to be dead, but isn't it's just very thin. After rubbing it gently the brown rubbed off and there was a thin green stalk underneith. I also added a glad lid with a slit and some wax paper over the top of the rocks. It seems the splashing onto the hydroton has caused this area to be wet, become weak and turn brown. This is my own assumption, I have gone ahead and ran a weak nute mixture and added an additonal 150W HPS to the existing 600W MH and the little guy perked up today and is sitting up straight and everything! but the damned trunk still reminds me of ET's chest when he got sick and wanted to phone home...

Still if you have already been down this road or have a suggestion that might save this little guy, please, speak up! I have some clone pots waiting for my next move in any case...

Last night, the plant started drooping, i tried to clone it to save it, plant wasn't ready for cloning, it's a stump now in my hydro system. I don't think the clones will make it. So! if you have this rare and difficult problem!, avoid allowing this problem to happen in the first place. Don't let your exposed stalk or trunk get too wet and monitor the salts on them or else this shit might happen.
