So, I bought some clones from denver, 4 of the same pheno, already had to fight the mite infestation it brought....

Now that they're bigger.... they do not even look like the same strain. It's supposed to be Blue Dream (a sativa dominant). But I swear I only see one sativa looking plant. Am I being crazy? The one of the right has always behaved differently... did they give me the wrong damn clones?

I've seen variations in the same strain both in leaf and bud shape and size. For Sativa/Indica hybrids, I don't think you can make any assumptions about how the plant should look. Not familiar with Blue Dream though. I have grown Blueberry and saw a lot of variation between different specimens. Did they say they were all clones from the same plant or just all Blue Dream?

:cuss::cuss::cuss::cuss: Really thought i was clear at the store why I needed identical phenos (It's a shared rez, there's no special treatment in my house...).

They did not specifically say they were all from the same plant. I just kinda told them what I needed, they said OK, then I drove away with clones... so I guess it's possible they're from different mothers.

Little letter is recessive, big is dominant.

So, say your mother's mother was tall and her father was short. Your dad, tall and tall.

So, your mom would be Tt. Your dad would be TT.

Create a Punnett Square and work out the ratio, then grow out the seeds select the phenotypes that come out that you want to use to stabilize.

I can see how youd be upset and confused. Maybe grab a pack of reg seeds....keep both males and females for pheno hunt and make your own seeds/ clones? Then you can ensure their what ya want.

By the way: The letters form what is referred to as the "genotype." The phenotypes are the combinations of the expressed genes that present themselves.

This is a Punnett Square. When breeding and trying to stabilize genetics, this is your best friend. You need to know what genetic traits are dominant in Cannabis, though. Like, how brown eyes are dominant to blue in humans.

punnet square, yes, but isn't it AA, Aa, aA, and aa?

with co-doms, the first or second part of the chromisome is important in it's placement, as it affects what physical attributes will be displayed.
