The Type Of Weed Called "Sess"

alright so all the jamaicans round my way have this, and its all they smoke, now people tell me sess is shit and blah blah horrible, or that its a nickname for shit weed, but ive smoked a certain and its an insane high, better than most of the hydro and a few of the exotic strains ive smoked before, now apparently it comes in from jamaica which i find hard to believe, since im in canada and theres tons of it, would anyone know what type of strain this is? its a real dark brown greenish

Its soda in the north and pop in the south..

my paps went to jamaica and said he got the best stuff he ever smoked, but he's old school so...

And i'm from the mid west and we call it pop, when i moved to nor cal everyone calls it soda

Not quite right, it actually varies man-o

For the most part it's roughly:

North = Pop
East / MidWest / West = Soda

South = Varies, I know for a fact Texas(native) is soda, but I've met people from Alabama I think that said when they lived there is was pop.

I am from the west coast, and we always refered to crappy ( and usually seedy) bud as " cess" or " cess weed".Kind of old school slang though.

Yup North Chicago are is pop.Lived in Missouri it was always either soda or sodee or in the hood stores it was "Can I get a coke" then they ask what kind and you replied" Sprite" or"Classic".anyways sess was a term that was used early to mid 90's just a slang term for weed originated on the west coast gained fame in gangsta rap with hevay usage by AMG, Dj Quick , Eazy-E and Dre.It was a term to just regular ass hood weed sac bags nothin fancy.It was replaced by Chronic which wasnt an actual strain at first but a term of description for weed that was the best but later some one made a strain based on its street meaning.Sess was also called Buddah sess in certain ares.Jamaicians tend to be little late as far as slang terms from the US and may just have gotten to using it in a particular group but its not the actual starin if you research I bet the strains real name could be found.Just smopke it and sut up lol

I had a friend come back from Atlanta with a QP of reg's-30/60. Shit was golden man, literally gold, just had seeds. Reminded me of schwag 10 years ago with the taste and smell, but a better high. Funny thing is, he says the guy he bought it off of was a hardcore salesman, and his big pitch was how "C'mon dawg, this what Ludacris smokes, can't turn that shit down...."....

A book I was reading... had the mayor of some big city who was all against medical marijuana because he was the one who was smugling in all the illegal drugs and feeard that legalization of medical marijuana would make prices of all illegal drugs plumet... maybe thats why dickie juliani hates weed... It's just another nickname for it just like dope weed skunk chronic you name it, the term cess comes from cess tank or pool, which is an old toilet method you used to have your toilet which ran to your cess tank, which got emptied every so often, so cess means shit. Yo wheres the cess.

i got some jamaican hi grade and its strong shit. It is a heavy dense weed almost black in colour. If the natural weed is grown and cured right can be real potent
