It has come to my attention that we'd like to try building a truther/patriot network again.. ideas for this concept should be put here... a quick post from all of our patriots is requested for a head count.
Does this mean one has to pledge allegiance to G.W.Bush and his warmongering ways?? Exactly what is a patriot? My Idea of a patriot is one that is concerned about the state of his country and will stand up to make a difference. I'll stand up to get rid of the Bush regime, and oh yeah, I support the troops that have been put in harms way by a meglomaniacle president with less than 2 brain cellsIt has come to my attention that we'd like to try building a truther/patriot network again.. ideas for this concept should be put here... a quick post from all of our patriots is requested for a head count.
Sign me up Dave, the thing is, helicopter gunships and cluster bombs would make short work of us. We must have a coup. A movement from inside the military. That is the only way it would work. Talk to your son about that. I'd love to see the soldiers turn around and point their guns at the politicians and tell them to vacate the premisis. But you know the story: "Meet the new boss, same as the old boss"1 million armed citizens gather around the the White House and the Capitol Building while Congress is in session. Storm the buildings and have the elected officials tried for Treason. It would be ugly, but I'm afraid that the only way that "The People" are going to get their country (and their Constitution)back is through revolution.
I agree Med. That's why we would need massive amounts of civilians. The buildings would need to be occupied quickly because if the military was to target the usurpers, they'd be forced to take out Congress and the Executive Branch along with the citizens.Sign me up Dave, the thing is, helicopter gunships and cluster bombs would make short work of us. The impossible scenario is the national guard that would be called to defend the government and the subsequent Army and Marine arrivals would lay down their arms and join us, heck, keep their arms and join us. Otherwise the full might of our government would be used to crush any rebellion. Those assholes do not want to give up power and would not go easily. BTW, who would we replace them with.I agree Med. But yes, ideally it'd be nice to have some folks high up (Joint Chiefs?) who would be sympathetic to the cause. The People would need either assitance from within the military or military support from a foreign nation.
That's a good question and I'm not smart enough to have all the answers. In a rebellion, I'd most likely be a soldier than a leader anyway. I have the fearlessness and bravery down, but I don't think I am "leader" material. If I had to venture a guess, I'd say that The People should call on men and women willing to step up who are students of the US Constitution (Andrew Napolitano?). Maybe that's where one should start.BTW, who would we replace them with.

I was hanging with you untill you mentioned Andrew. I personally wouldn't vote him in as dogcatcher, no offense. I'm for the constitution, but a modern interpretation, one that fits modern times. The founding fathers expressly wanted this document to be a living document, one with provisions to fit the times. They never could have concieved of the society as it is. The basic tenents of the constitution are solid. They just need to be able to fit into todays society. Napolitano is too strict when interpreting it.That's a good question and I'm not smart enough to have all the answers. In a rebellion, I'd most likely be a soldier than a leader anyway. Well like I said, I don't have the smarts to have all the answers, and it was just an idea that I thought I'd throw out. Even our Founding Fathers didn't form a government overnight. In fact, some of their debates got so heated they almost went to blows over it. Modern or strict, I do think getting students of the Constitution involved would be a good start.I was hanging with you untill you mentioned Andrew. Amen to that. That document has stood for 230+ years and needs some back up by us citizens. The PTB are trying to euthanize it and put it to sleep.Well like I said, I don't have the smarts to have all the answers, and it was just an idea that I thought I'd throw out. do you have enough faith in your fellow US citizens to be smart enough to engage in a revolution?1 million armed citizens gather around the the White House and the Capitol Building while Congress is in session.
