The smell of a skunk?

Hi!
I've been growing for a few years now and I'm starting to produce some nice bud.
Usually way more smelly than what my friend buy on the streets with nice deep pine, earthy and sickly sweet smells.

But!
I recently visited those friends, who just happened to change weedguy in the meantime and scored unknown bud that reeked particularly!
I suspect it being a skunk variety?
It has a foul egg/sulfur odor to it while remaining somewhat sweet and flowery.
like my brain can't decide if it smells beautiful or bad hahaha

I'm under the impression it doesn't produce "more" smell, but that the smell juste "hits" different if you know what I mean?
Inever smelled a skunk, but from what I've heard from it, I'm guessing it is

ANYWAYS!
I like smelly cannabis and if something smells so peculiar, I sure as hell wanna grow some and I have a two questions for you guys!

first, do you have a particularly skunky/ cliché smelling strain in mind?

second, how much stronger does a skunky funky strain smells compared to a more "modern" strong smelling strain?
I don't live in a place where laws make sense and I'm not trying to get everyone's attention with something smelling twice as much as what I usually grow...
I've grown some sour diesel auto, LSD, ZombieKush, etc, ... which were stinking pretty strong, and I don't know if I should expect more?

Thanks in advance for your opinions!

I had the pleasure of tasting a cheese strain and it's got the same kind of pungent kick to it
But my original question was:
How much more do pungent cheesy or skunky strains stink up your house compared to your more usual fruity, earthy or kushy smells?

I really want to grow skunk and cheese strains, but I'm pretty scared it would be leaking out of my house and alerting my neighbors...

A lot more. I grew in the house once, and people walking down the driveway knew what I was up to when the got to the mailbox. Couldn't have straight friends round for the whole grow.
Now, I run an 8" filter, with an adapter and a 6" fan, 24/7. It just sits in the room and recirculates the air. Changed everything.

Just because a strain has Cheese or Skunk in the lineage doesnt automatically make it more pungent than anything else. A lot of that will be pheno dependent as well as dependent on the grower.
Controlling smell should always be a top priority.

Id say anything skunk dom as is cheese also btw is gonna stink to high heaven smells vary from fruity to funky skunk wall penetrating stench the fruity ones are more stealth ig tho i prefer skunky pungent skunks personally but id say most of it and its hybrids are strong smelling as a general rule so take extra precautions if your paranoid about growing out skunk or any other high odour strains obviously carbon filters and negative pressure are a must but id say invest in some onablock too if your that worried about growing some out

Our noses are more sensitive to some smells than others. In general when i was growing up the stankier weed was the better but there was far less diversity in areas. Skunk derivatives and those that smelled like it seemed far more common. Honestly great weed smellee like a nearby polecat. Nowadays the commonly available phenotypes vary greatly in smell. Yet still, there is a familiarity with a skunk (polecat) smell and many different types of cannabis.

Some of the tastiest/sweet weed I've had were from cheese(skunk1 pheno) hybrids.

Cheese candy
Dairy Queen
Cheesequake
Lemon Zinger
Ugorg#1
