The Plethora of Anti-Gay Protests

Prisoner #56802

New Member
I did a search for gay rights protests and i noticed that there are TONS of anti-homosexual protests going on in the USA today! I mean check the link and look at these pics below!

.....Very anti-homosexual. I am pro-gay rights. I have had homosexual male friends while I am a heterosexual. It doesn't mean that much to me. I just stay out of relationships and I stay out of the bedroom. I think U should 2!

These protesters want gay people to get the death penalty and go to Hell! That's pretty fucking serious, ya know!

I think God & Jesus teach tolerance & justice....not hatred....I don't mean to sound so naive, but I thought the USA was starting to accept homosexuality and now this? You people need to read the Civil Rights Act! Here:
This act, signed into law by President Lyndon Johnson on July 2, 1964, prohibited discrimination in public places, provided for the integration of schools and other public facilities, and made employment discrimination illegal. This document was the most sweeping civil rights legislation since Reconstruction.

I guarantee you, I am NOT intimidated by the protests or protestors.....5 starred

It doesn't matter, either.....I believe the protests should not be happening. The USA is a free country. What if it is seen as a Relegiuos right to a gay man? God created man, man worships & serves God - even homosexuals

Eh stupid people will be stupid people and there is nothing you can do to change that, i do however disagree with the sentiment that these people shouldn't be allowed to protest in public, this is America and people should be able to speak there mind on what ever the fuck they want, whether its these homophobic bigot fucks or the west burrow baptist bigot fucks, say what ever you want just be prepared to have your ass beat if you piss off the wrong person. I hate the involvement of religion in politics and i think it should be banned from any form of political discussion, i also hate the pretend separation of church and state, if the church and state are really separate then how is ghey marriage even an issue to be discussed? Most of all i hate the government sticking its fucking nose into places where it doesn't fucking belong, you wanna be ghey fine be ghey i don't really like to see it unless your a chick but you have every right to be what ever in the fuck you want to be and do what ever the fuck you want to do.

You can't 5 star your own thread then start using your Skydaddy as your point of logic.

People who act like you are the kind that these ridiculous idiots are protesting about.

Youre such a "victim" it's pathetic, you don't see Carne making a big deal out of every little stupid thing, you even got offended when someone used the term "butthurt" which has nothing to do with gay people.

I wish I could one star this again.

what truth?

all i see is hate. hate is about as far from truth as you can get, the people who died deserve respect not to be used for you amusement or at whim

that's not truth that's depravity at its finest

one lie perpetuating another . .. weak shit man, seem just how the ignorant past operated, close the circle of hate

Though I would rather not have seen those images, I am reminded of the Ben Fanklin Quote, Benjamin Franklin (1773) .... Those who do not learn from the mistakes of history are doomed to repeat them.

there is nothing to learn from that picture . .. . ..

plenty to learn from a well thought out response to bigotry . . . . . using the death of that man or boy and monstrosity of the mentality of those men and women and children to hype people into a emotional state is cheap and imho deplorable behavior

the horrible acts perpetrated by those men should be talked about and used as points . . .not a visual reference . . . that one dude smiling bet he's just as happy as the OP that, that pic is being displayed . . . . .

I disagree Sam. Though I share your disgust with the men protrayed in that picture, I do not think the extent of the horror could be explained in words alone. Consider if you will the Hollocost. The pictures united the world behind the movement to stop that from ever happening again. The same can be said for the civil rights movement in the 60's. It wasn't until the nation saw the images of the men, women, and children being attacked by the police dogs and being beaten in the street that the movement gained any traction.

As horrible as those pictures are, they served a purpose. God help humanity if we turn our backs on the road we took to evolve socially. We must remember Sam. As unplesant as it may be...

That's what you get with religion.

Religion is the cause of all this hate and it will continue to be for as long as it's accepted.
These religious bigots think they have a mandate on morality and law, their backward way of thinking taints their actions.

He is right. Everyone should be able to say what they want no matter how uncomfortable it makes you, except to yell fire in a theatre. Without free speech nothing would change.

Don't mix up the believers with the bigots there is a difference. Believers feed the hungry, treat the injured, house the homeless and they don't care if your gay or straight or whether you believe or not.

why cant you yell fire in a theater WW

no need to answer

i think that people are easily manipulated

i see very little difference to yelling fire in the setting of a theater, and yelling bigoted racism speeches to the ignorant poor

although i do believe that freedom of speech is one of our most important inalienable rights

i do think that hate propaganda, in any form toward any demographic is disingenuous and wrong, as it preys on the feeble minded and the weak

if its intentional purpose is to cause harm and incite panic . . . then i see it as wrong . . . hard to give the first amendment a grey area though
