Hello I'm a guy in the Midwest area wanting to start growing my own smokes. I've been reading many a online articles, forums, etc. So after much reading I've decided to go with the Cash crop 4.0 hydro systems. Im pulling the cash out of thin air basically and I know it's kind of optimistic but I want this first time around to be perfect. I can't afford any mistakes cause it would hurt financially. I just want all the advice tips do and don'ts i can get. I'm shooting for high yields and and good quality (yeah I know who isn't) and I was thinking of starting with the strands blue dream, white widow, pineapple kush, and platinum og. Any help comments advice are welcome. PS. Im also looking for purple cavier and moon rock seeds if you know where I can get them.

If youre a novice, Id advise against hydro systems. I have soil down to a science and failed hydro three attempts. There is much maintenance with hydro, daily ph testing, water temps to keep cool if you dont have a chiller, changing resevoirs. Im failry meticulous and couldnt get it dialed in. Soil, you water twice a week and youre good.

First thing, learn to grow small and simple before trying to turn it into a money making endeavor. Get it down, get comfortable, and then scale up.

Get some promix. Get some Dyna Grow Foliage Pro and Protekt, Get some PH adjustor. And have at it.

And yes, read read read!

Unless they have changed, Lowes only carries the "booster" fans. They are meant to be used in addition to a bigger fan. They will not really pull/push 500cfm. Spend the extra and get a good inline fan....from amazon or ebay or a hydro shop
