this is my friends and my first grow so we need some critiquing. how does this set up look? the cfls are 42w soft white i know there for flowering but its all we could get will they still work? then 40w 4ft tubes cool white for the other lights. all the soil is different from eachother. and we are doing this on a tight budget so the pots are all different to. any other question just ask.:peace:

first of all and most important... clean the shit up around it! u shouldnt have crap everywhere. uniform in your grow is of utter importance. it helps you properly maintain a water schedule, light schedule, nutrient schedule and a bunch of other things you will learn as you grow. for lights... cool whites will do the trick but remember.. the more light you have the better the production will be!

for veg you should be using(for up to 4 plants):

4 - 23watt(100watt equivilant) Daylight(6500K) CFL's
2 - 23watt(100watt equivilant) Warm White(2700K) CFL's

light schedule should be(for veg):

Day 1 - 7: 24 hours of light/0 hours dark
Day 7 - 14: 20 hours of light/4 hours of dark
Day 14 and on: 18 hours of light/6 hours of dark

lighting system for flower room(for up to 4 plants):

4 - 23watt(100watt equiviliant) Warm White(2700K) CFL's
2 - 23watt(100watt equivilant) Daylight(6500K) CFL's

light schedule for flowering:
Entire Flower Cycle: 12 hours of light/12 hours of dark

make sure you keep a fan running 24 hours but not directly on the plants... its important to keep air circulating
you will also need timers to run the lights unless you have time everyday to turn them on and off. also it is very important that you keep a thermometer and hygrometer to keep an eye on temperature and humidity levels.

Dude, if you have a barn you must have acreage...

Just go find a nice spot!

Baby them, especially while they are establishing their root system.

Dig a whole twice the size of the established root systems.

If you wanna make em flower earlier outside, cover em up a little while before sunset,

or hit em with an infared bulb just after sunset.

Good luck!

You better figure out how to stop the deer from eating them.
