The L.E.D. Jungle

Hi guys... And girls?

I currently have a 2x 600 hps setup with NFT system..

Im building two new setups Veg and bloom and ive been looking in to LED for keeping costs down..

But omg what a jungle.. Every manufactorer claims that their own LED is the BEST.. And been searching google for days now reading all kind of things..

One company uses 3v LED and claims its much better than 1.04v ect. but then another company states this : "It is proven, that cheap, economic 3Watt chips, other than not having the same power as 3 single chips of 1Watt each, they are not adapt to the agriculture sector, where it is fundamental that the light source is spread out as much as possibile and not concentrated in a panel with fewer led chips."




Im really confused on this subject..

I need a LED for Veg and two for Bloom what to choose?

Blackstar's have proven results at a little less money. They have a new Chrome series that looks impressive.

It's about all about par output. Any company can get the right spectrum but a light that has penetration and produces growth is another. Most companies don't advertise par, specially cheaper led's. I like apache tech. Per watt one of the best by far.

That hydrogrow 336x seems good but could find the actual par numbers but at lest they brought it up.
