Hi all Back to start again. This time using a system I designed and developed then shelved in 2007 awaiting more legal times.
It will be relaunched as a 6 plant unit to keep in with US regulations.
NTT is the technique.
Light is a Quantum board.
Seeds from Sensi seeds. There Sensi Skunk 55 day feminised seeds

Sprouts are out decided to go minimal growth medium using just a inch block and the plastic framework to support them. Cut the bottom bit of plastic off. Don't know why cos the roots will push it out the way anywaysIMG_20210305_200256_3.jpgIMG_20210305_200305_1.jpg

Day 1 started.
10 litres in each tank E.C. 18/20
P.H. I do not worry about using self P.H. InG nutrient leaves it around 7 happy enough with that
Left it too warm up water heaters set at 24

Sprouts went on 09.23
Seeds are Sensi Skunk feminised
Stated 50/55 day flowering

Day 2
Not a lot happens in the first week.
Time to relax and watch.
Nutrient is fine. 1.8/2.0 E.C.

Seedlings have grown a little on yesterday
Will keep it featured on this seedling till there showing a bit more
 
The other three have not shucked yet pic is the smallest. They will be a bit smaller once they all get going. Have a way for these to catch up.
Will show that as time comes

Day 3

Day 4
Little sprout has about doubled in size from yesterday and the smallest has shucked showing its first set of leavesIMG_20210309_065527_3.jpg

Yes I know it's a lot higher than you guys use.
Here's the beauty of this system I could set my E.C @ 26 even to 30 and it still would not burn roots.
Why not?

My plants are protected by an Abiotic stress elicitor.
The elicitor in this system is static electricity.
Maybe a bit much to get one's head around but it's in there and BTF it worx.
 
are the seeds a recent purchase? i was asking in another post whether there were any recent sensi seed grows and here you turn up

Hi yes purchased these 14 days ago only a 5 pack they all sprouted used Sensi seeds from the early eighties pretty much since they opened always been good to go

thankyou, and sorry for disturbing your journal, it's just i purchased some skunk no.1 and afghan kush recently and from 1 seed from each pack wasn't impressed, the colas were huge but wrong consistency and strange highs. i know it's not a consistent review as there are more seeds to pop yet but just wondering why there aren't many grows or support for sensi anymore
 
Have generally used.his northern lights always happy with them.
Remember there must be a huge number of seedbanks now compared to ,10 years ago
 
Day 8
Second set of real leaves just starting. There was me thinking shit this is slow LOL forgot it's only 12 days since germination startedIMG_20210313_073245_1.jpg
 
Day 10 I call this stage IMG_20210315_075943_1.jpgthe phattening. The little seedling stem starts getting phatter.

Can't say that I am that impressed with this light seems things are slower this time round even with a quicker flowering plant.
 
Coming out of the boring bit.
The phattening is happening.
Second set of leaves start lifting giving the first leaf gaps and the stem is phattening.

Noticed yesterday afternoon its first leaves went from a yellowish green to a much darker green. Seems this could be it's first real nutrient uptake.
Makes me wonder what does it use in those first ten days.
 
Day 12
Boring bit over
All the plants are bobbing along nicely the phattening is happening leaves are starting to fold out
