yep its that time of year again.. lets get our grow on, what you say.. just sank 800 bucks into my greenhouse. I put a good roof on this year, cant wait to see how the girls grow this year.. good luck to all you outdoor growers thus year.. grow them big and keepumgreeen..

I, so badly, want a greenhouse. Kudos, Mygirls, and nice work. I just got new seeds from Nirvana, and I'm cloning like a mofo for my summer grow.

From rumors I've been hearing, we can expect another rainy September again this year (someone on here was quoting Farmer's Almanac, or something), so I guess we should all act like Boyscouts, and "Be Prepared".

Huge rainstorm around Sept 10th or so last year, and it didn't stop for weeks. I needed a dry month, and ended up with big plants in the livingroom, with crazy McGyver type lights. (it actually looked really tropical in there)

I'm taking no chances this year, and covering up my outdoor girls to force flowering, in early June. (mostly sativas, which take forever in flowering). Best of luck on your gut, Robs. May you be VERY right! :-)

We may force flower on them end of July in one of our greenhouses too. Will wait & see what my gut says later on in the season.

I remember that storm. My buds swelled up so fat. I swear the doubled overnight xD

I think this Summer will long and dry because, call me superstitious, I found a snake in March. Snakes being cold blooded can almost predict weather, And this personal theory has always proven true: so far.

We found a snake in February in a vineyard we were pruning! And there was a snake in my veg closet this morning -- so it must be doubly true. (alas, I think the snake was captured,wounded, and brought inside by my sadistic huntress cat. Poor lil' fella. Surprised me when I went to check on the plants this morning, and there he was, just hanging out next to the Nirvana freebie seedlings. When I went back with a box, for capture and release, it was gone! I can't find it anywhere. So now, there's a snake cruising in my weed room, sharing space with my rabbit and plants! Luckily, it's a little garter snake -- but still...Kinda nerve wracking.)(pics to follow)

things r growing good, the girls are lush and green. and the vegi garden is doing just as good, everything has popped up. cant wait for that fresh corn on the cob.

Mygirls: I have Greenhouse envy. So much space -- your girls are VERY lucky. How do you like having the "half" greenhouse (just the roof enclosed) for growing? I think it would be ideal for outdoor in the fall -- things can finish up nicely, w/o the September rainstorms beating the buds to shit, and then the subsequent mold issues.

that was the reason I did only they roof. they should stay nice and dry. we stay bud friendly around here....LOL
