The first grow

Here is my first ever grow. Thought I'd post it on here for Helpful tips and some criticism. First off I'm using a 5x5 tent with two 6in fans. One for intake, and the other hooked to my charcoal filter pushing air over my 600 watt cool tube and out the top for my outtake. I used a Coco perlite mix. Not sure the ratio, but I mixed one bag of the black gold perlite to every brick of the GH Coco. These 4 plants(g-13, Marionberry, Gypsy queen, Kalashnakova) were vegged out under a T5 8 bulb fluorescent light for about 6 weeks and LST (low stress trained) the majority of that time. I fed Gen. Hydro's basic 3 part nutrient line (during veg). Once I started 12/12 they went under the 600 watt hps and also I hung a old aurora 400 watt MH up (with no hood) for a blue spectrum mixed with the reddish/orange from the 600, and of course for MORE lumens! During flower I switched my nutrients to Botanicare's CNS17 and used the whole advanced feeding line except the AQUA SHIELD and CLEAREX. I stuck to the recommended feeding chart they have online and they took to that wonderfully and are loving it. I wish I would have uploaded and begun a journal sooner, as we are already on day #43 of 12/12. Feel free to ask any questions you may, or would like to know something about the grow I didn't mention. Here are all the pictures I have taken. Sorry it isn't the greatest quality, I shot them with my old galaxy s phone. Hope you guys enjoy!

Thanks for the thumbs up and positive replies everyone! I forgot to mention and ask in the original post about mixing nutrients. I bought some Koolbloom (powder form) from GH thinking I was going to be using GH in flower but got a wild hair and switched to Botanicare after reading and comparing the two. I guess my question is if it's safe to use the Koolbloom recommended feeding during the last 2-3 weeks while still feeding my botanicare? I'm running around 490-520 ppm every feed with my botanicare, which if I understand right is pretty light compared to others using this same line of nutes pushing 1,000 ppm. I'm just scared of over feeding and causing stress or burning them this late into flower. The marionberry and g-13 are both indica dominate I believe, and the kalash is a 10/90 sativa dominate I think. The gypsy I got from a grower in Washington and I want to say it's pure sativa, but don't know for sure... She sure is a sweet smelling plant though caked with thc and resin.

The lights just kicked on so I thought I'd try to get a couple bud shots before bed and show you all the nutrients I'm using. It looks like the marionberry is going be all purple when finished! The first pic is the Gypsy queen. Every time I open the tent I get a big waft of stank ass, and I like it :-) It's such a light super sweet fragrance. I wish you guys could get a wif of her so you could understand. I fed last night so I'll be updating with more pics by Sunday, hopefully. Until then can anyone help me out with some advice on harvesting and when I should start, or determine when they are ready? Any and all advice would help being this is my first harvest. Thanks everyone. It's time for bong hits and bed now bongsmilie

Not long my friend thats for sure now to as how long idk.. no the best quallitly photos. and as for the botanicare line. it kicks ass for sure. and yeah my buddy uses koolbloom 10-10 as his main sweller along with overdrive and he runs the cns has been for years. when it comes to drying and curing i prefer to manicure my gals before drying, if you know your gonna be able to trim it all just chop her at her stalk and start trimmimg, i suggest good scissors. if your not gonna be able to get to it all the only chop her main colas or vise a versa, hang them somewere dry kool and dark, no warmer then 68 Imo. and no higher then %30 humidity. once try to the touch throw them in a paper bag (my preference for legal reasons) or whatevr you decide, burp(open container) 2-5 times daily.

Happy Growing, May your nugs be dense!
