The Effects of Marijuana

What has it done to your life? Lets all be honest. We preach its all habitual use but for some of us, its an addiction. Probably, for most of us.
We spend tons of money on nutrients, lights, boxes, grow mediums and etc. Its still hard to sometimes have a normal conversation about it with some people because they think its so taboo. Its no different than a tomato plant, one feeds us and one enlightens us.
I still have to worry about growing it and jeopardizing my renting issue(its already happened) or being arrested and labeled a drug dealer even if its not being distributed.
I'm constantly thinking about new designs for micro-grows and hacking them up in my garage; in the area that I live, its not fathomable to grow my own right now but once I get back to the lower part of the Northern Hemisphere, I should be alright and back to normal. Until then, I have to buy good northern regs and pay the price. Waiting 60-90 days for a yield is well worth it.

Most of the time, I think I'd rather smoke and appreciate the smaller things in life rather than not smoke and stress myself out and work to the bone and 'succeed in life' but close family members seem to feel otherwise. People impose there perception of life on too many people now-a-days. I understand when your a child and its all you have but once you're on your own feet, relax.

Let me know what its done to for you or against you.

[FONT=arial, helvetica] On your family member issue, I refer to this great quote. My family saw what success I had attained and it changed their views, but regardless if I had been successful or not... I would not have allowed them to change my stance on cannabis simply because of stereotypical views.

"I do my thing, & you do your thing. I am not in this world to live up to your expectations, and you are not in this world to live up to mine. You are you and I am I, and if by chance we find each other - it is beautiful. If not it can't be helped."

-Fritz Perls
(A Gestalt Prayer)

As for me, I fly a 2.1 million dollar aircraft and have a boss that supports my use of cannabis, I have a wonderful g/f now, great life... nice car. Cannabis hasn't changed my life for the worse at all and I don't foresee it doing so. I too enjoy the smaller things in life, especially spending time with my cats... they're too damn cute!

Exactly, I feel the same exact way. Generally, if I smoke, I am a much relaxed and easy-going person. If I am not smoking, I tend to be more stressed and fast-paced person and happiness usually blooms when I am around women.
I've been debating the last couple days a flight school down the road that is finally accepting students. Finally, somewhere that you don't have to worry about traffic as much; its just much more serious if you do.
I don't let any of my family members impose of my way of life, they just put their two cents in all the time. I take a small vacation off of the career path and some people worry. I'm just not sure what I want to do yet, until then I work two jobs and keep the money coming in.

Flying is a great release, and yes it holds a lot more responsibility. I don't fly high though, I take one or two hits in the morning before work to calm my thoughts (I'm ADD, still) and that's enough for me. Price of oil goes up, price of everything goes up... so expect to spend around 6-7k for flight lessons. After you get your Private Pilots License, immediately start working on your Instrument and your Commercial ratingsm and try doing this in an aircraft with more than 180hp and retractable gear (Cessna 182RG, Piper Arrow, Cessna 210 are great) so you can also get your High Performance and Complex signoffs.

If you're looking to make a career out of flying as I have (it's a great career having an office at 26,000ft) then you'll want to get signed on with an FBO that has rentable/charter aircraft and start flying for them as I did. One of my FBO's customers bought his own aircraft, liked me so much from my time spent flying him around that he hired me, that's how I got my gig, and it happens a lot in the aviation field. I suggest going to your airport, and getting a job at the FBO... just ask if they have any opening in "Line Service" and that'll get you on your way. Good FBO's pay up to $14.00/hr starting.

I hear that WeFall, I met some really cool fellas at the Grand Canyon last summer, was out hiking a trail and smelled smoke... yes the good cheeba cheeba smoke. Looked down and on the ridge below me were two grey haired Willie Nelson lookin' characters. I had bought some great dank in Phoenix when I had arrived, I threw down a joint of it to them and they of course, invited me for some of theirs. We talked, found out they were from Oregon and had been traveling around the west for a few weeks... we sat on that ridge for a good 4 hours talking about shit and watching the sun set over the canyon, what an experience.
