The Bootlooping Issues on the lg g4

Just take it to a cell phone specialist place. Those guys can get all the data off your phone for pretty cheap. I had a similar issue last year with my Galaxy. Good luck...
 
bootlooping is a fun word to say. boot, loop. bootlooping. I like saying that.

I'm sorry, was trying to be funny.

Rooting is, so simply put, when you gain administrator or superuser access to the device. Being a superuser allows you to install custom software onto the device, among other things. If you had had custom software on the device, it likely wouldn't be bootlooping.

Not much you can do now...

Also, if rooted, you could shell into the phone using a terminal, and copy all user data over to computer, assuming you have the know how.

But, you're not rooted, and I'm not funny.

We're back at square one.

The first I heard of this issue was when it happened to mine. But there were thousands of cases before it, and had I known that, I would have been much more diligent about backing stuff up. I just feel like Verizon could have said something. Like, damn, Verizon, that was cold.
