Temps through the roof but no neg effects?

I have two plants in a box roughly 2x2x2ft. i have a 135w led lighthouse hydro along with 6x23w cfls. 12/12 schedule at night.

i have 2x120mm fans set up. one intake one exhaust. each fan advertises 74cfm (if my math is correct that means whatever air is in the box fully changes every 6 or so seconds).

my thermostat read as high as 110f. i know thats roughly ambient temp because its in a naturally warm part of the house. i have a 4'' exhaust fan that pushes hot air out of the room the box is in. so i know the air is fresh its just warm. my only thought is of outdoor grows when temps outside get into the high 90s and break 100f. i cant say i see any negative effects on the plants due to temps. does the fact that the air is fresh negate the negative effects of the hot air? it definitely appears to be..

i realized im posting this and not asking for any particular help i just did not expect to see my plants do so well considering all the heat related issues i see on here.

It would really depend on how long the high temps last for and how long the plants have had the high temps. With good airflow you can get away longer with higher temps but in the long run it does cause problems normally. It could also be that you have a strain that is very tough. My advice is to watch them closely and not to get too happy just yet as things change so quickly. it has happened to me.

Sounds like you found some great information that others can apply. It seems to me that there's possibly some evaporative cooling effect on the leaf surface making it ok. Good job on your design, air flow air flow air flow.

i want to say it peaked at 110 over the course of 2 weeks with my thermostat recording max/min temps. for the most part the temps hover around the mid the high 80s. the inside of the box is painted flat white so i know light reflection isnt causing hot spots. the strains are kc brains mind bender (9 weeks) and nirvana white widow (8 weeks). ill update this post with the outcome.

Plant growth will come to a slow point of growth without Co2 raised at 85 F and around 90 the plants will come to a halt from the stress factor . Of course they can take the heat like most other plants that require full sun but this should be avoided as its effects will be noticed down the road due to stretching . It is a plant after all and it will adapt and grow through hell most times not .

Now try to flower a annual with high temps and you will find a mess on your hands , most general gardeners and farmers hate high temps as it will force many crops to bolt and be ruined . Cannabis will not bolt but it will turn into a scraggly mess of a flower when heat stressed during bloom .

get it fixed you dont want to stress the plants ever, use what ever it takes get the temps down.never chance it
