Temperature Controller

I need a temperature controller to both regulate the heat and cool my grow room (Secret Jardin 150). I have never used a temperature controller, so I am a little confused.

To cool the room I am going to use an exhaust fan, and to heat it, I am going to use a space heater (specifically, a vornado).

My question is, can both the exhaust fan and space heater be attached to the temperature controller so that when the room drops below 70 the space heater turns on, and when the temperature goes above 80 the exhaust fan turns on? Can you recommend a temperature controller?

Thanks.

I would not advise getting a heater. Space heaters heat up WAY too much, in next to no time.
Unless you live somewhere retardedly cold, I doubt the temps in the box with the lights off will drop too far below 75.
I would get a basic 5amp thermostatic switch, hooked up to my exhaust fan(s) (assuming you use passive intakes).
This will start the fans as soon as temperatures hit 80 deg and will cool the box to 75 deg before it switches the fans off (ideally).
These settings can be altered easily to suit different purposes. Check eBay for some real good deals.

If you insist on having a unit that heats and does cool too:
You may buy a cooler/heater unit, much similar to a mini-portable AC unit.
This can heat and cool large volumes of air in a few minutes time.
They can be purchased relatively cheaply too!
Also, they will sync seamlessly with your timer.

Despite being reasonably priced. These units are still a lot more pricey than exhaust fans!
Their large size also makes them unusable in smaller grows.
