Alright so out of sheer shit luck and bad events.

i am left with one beauty

how much longer till she is done do you guys think?

I think this is the 6-7th week, and i think they go 9 weeks?
I just fed her some nutes last feeding and i noticed the trichomes exploded!
was thinking of feeding her some mollasses today.
If anyone could tell me the water/mollasses ratio for a 3gallon soil. and how to feed it would be cool.

idk. im new:confused:

anyway. i love her, and enjoy!

If you can be patient and give it at least a few more weeks you'll be happy but I could see that being a 4-5 weeks away. If those are the first signs of trichs imo and it is probably a strain that will get really snowy later on. I would say you need the right balance of nutes right now, mostly phosphorus and potassium, not much nitrogen at all and you need to feed it a couple times a week but in smaller doses- don't try to force it to grow by feeding a lot. Over watering probably not a concern as it looks like it's in a pot and will drain. Organic would be better and you won't have to worry about flushing much in the end. As for molasses, I think it has some nutrients that are really good for the plant and I've never heard of it hurting. But if you are feeding molasses now with the idea you are a week or two away from harvest I would say you're ahead of schedule. My amateur opinion is you are a minimum of three weeks out still. All the hairs are white. If you are patient for the next month and feed it correctly you will triple your yield from what you would harvesting in the next week.

What nute and ratios are you using now?

Take a look at this thread and the pics fdd posted. Yours are a few weeks away from looking like the ones he says still aren't quite ready imho.

Based on my first grow here, I'd say you're like 5 weeks away from harvest- mine were like that week 4 and now I'm at week 8- and she's still not ready- We've been using Big Bloom and the buds just continue to grow and develop- slowly but surely leaves get a little yellow, but buds stay green and healthy as the N- deficiency in leaves shows- then we pruned the leaves blocking buds to allow light on the buds-------

I sometimes wonder if it is possible for the plant to get so big so quick. its the 7th week now, and over the past week it exploded.

gonna post up some new pics, the change is fucking crazy.

Don't buds "swell" right before they are ready to harvest? Is there a relationship with the swelling and how much time is left? I guess it would be hard to know if it's swelling or just growing naturally unless you have a lot of experience and are watching the plant constantly.

I think the molasses has the micro nutrients a plant needs, now add some phosphorus and potassium in the mix to help it along, if you aren't already. Even if you have to use a little non organic you can flush it a week or so before you harvest and I would think a little would help a lot and be worth a slight "taste".

Yah im gonna feed it some more African Violet tomorrow, maybe a lil more mollasses.

Might stretch the growing out until im completely satisfied at this point.

it looks really good, so it'll be worth the extra week or two

you would have been a lot better letting her go longer. your last pics show very early to harvest.
