TDS Reading!!!! 10x 238 ppm?

I have the HM TDS meter; and it just read 238 x10... is this 2380 ppm, or is this 1238 ppm? I don't need math lessons... I just want to make sure what my plants are at. If you're a smart ass, just move on. (I'm using 3 part Fox Farm and I'm about 5 weeks into flowering. Please let me know. [If you you're not familiar with HM TDS meter, please don't respond.])

While I am not familiar with which scale your meter is using, I can confidently say that 238 x10 is intended to read as 2380.

Just emptied half each reservoir, filled with tap water, and only brought each down to 1700 ppm... still too much... I know, but will hold me over till tomorrow. I'm freaking out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It depends largely on what the plants are used to sitting in. IOW how big of a jump is 1700 from what they were at. My guess is that they can not handle it, and it only takes a few hours to get the first signs of nute burn.

I did a reading for the first time in 2 weeks... and realized its more than 2000 ppm... which is way too much... I adjusted it to 1700 right now... but I have noticed that the growth has been slow over the past few weeks... maybe because of this over nute... nonetheless, i believe the ppm should never be this high which is why I was so worried about the PPM reading on the meter. Tomorrow I will flush the system and put nutes to 1200-1400 ppm... due to the large plants that I have... about 5 feet tall and 4 feet wide each. Seriously... thanks for everybody's responses!

it might also be helpful to check the calibration of your meter, as they can drift over time. The time taken generally correlates to the quality of the meter.

I never empty my 50 gallon DWC Recirculating 12 bucket Rez and i run my system @ 2300-2900 PPM all the time and add water to top off when needed, I have no Nut Burn and they grow like wildfire

I use full load of nutrients every 10 days with 5-10 gallons of water to top off weekly depending on size8)8)

water a lot of luke warm water through them and don't recirculate it, pump it to your lawn then water it through, some plants will be fine, sativa usually freak out though

2380 ppm is correct......sounds too high at any stage of growth.
im running 2-2.1k ppm late in flower without issues. in fact the plants are sucking up as much juice as they can get their greedy fking mits on and making me go broke for their fking food.

6 large plants and two small ones that got fked all loving it sucking down 5-10 gallons of water juice nute greatness every few days outta the rez roots are in rez exploding
