TDS/PH Meter Calibration (results)

Both my meters are new and the paperwork said they they were adjusted at the factory and needed no adjusting. Well, I've been using them for about a month now and today I decided to calibrate my meters to check them and here are the results:

TDS Measured 1063 PPM in 1500 PPM solution

PH measured 6.6 in 7.0 buffer solution

Just thought I would post this letting people know that its worth spending a dollar to get some calibration solution to make sure your meters are calibrated even if they were calibrated at the factory. I wish I would have done this when I first got them. :peace:

i just pour my buffer solution in a baby jar. i keep reusing the same buffer solution.

after i check the ph i will rinse the meter with distilled water then dip in buffer before putting away. and no the meter does not change that much but i like to be safe.

once a week is right, the solutions to calibrate get expensive. the ph pens driftand fail alot. look in my journal below, i use 2 just to be safe!
