Okay so I just received my TDS meter my plants are suffering from nutrient burn and I was told I want to check my tap water the reading says 149 I'm growing in soil grow tent what level of PPM should I have this
The plants are about 6 weeks old I'm using coast of Maine soil with Fox Farm Trio. Nutrients the water 6.5 pH levels using pH Down. The plants are really dark green and hard and Droopy and the tips are starting to point two plants are okayHow old are the plants? What soil? What nutrients are you using? How much nutrients are you using? What's the PPM of the water after you've mixed in your nutrients? What is the pH of your water and water nutrient mix? What signs do you see that tells you that you're over-fertilizing?
How about some pics (with the grow lights turned off)?
For starters, with a water source of less than 200-250, you typically want to be sure to be using a Calcium and Magnesium supplement (eg. Botanicare Cal-Mag Plus).
So my tap water is fine okay then cool so basically I'm just over fertilizing it because after that I start using polar spring bottled water with Cal Mag solution mixed but then I test the polar spring and it read 50 PPM levelYour tap water is fine as far as EC. Get online and read the latest water analysis performed. Likely majority calcium and magnesium not too far behind.
