Tap root pointing up....

First time grower-I have been germinating my Northern Lights Seeds in soil for several days, and now the tap root is showing on several of my plants but it is growing up through the soil instead of the other way around. Is there any way to turn this around and save my plants without killing them??? Please help ASAP-Thanks in Advance.

Yea me either, tap roots will usually turn themselves around.

Anyway, just be very delicate with it and carefully turn it around. Good luck!

yup should be fine I intervened on the sprouting of mine and helped them up (planted a little deep)

One of mine so far are doing the exact same, this is the only place I could find anywhere with any info on roots of marijuana growing toward the light. Thanks to some help here yes I know how to fix it, but with 7 spots in a aero hydro system and wow just 1 to loose, what could / would happen? I take it that this is a rare thing does anyone know anything about it?

would you turn a baby around in the mothers body? hm?! you might... but would she like it!!! um, point... u should put a little dirt on top of it, it will grow upright in search for light and then send the roots wherever moisture is.. bottom feeding in a shallow flood tray would be one solution, roots will go downward, leaves will go upward, win win

i had this happen on me with a northern lights seed in rockwool. the taproot tried to turn itself around and get past the seed husk, but it didn't make it unfortunately :(
