Tall Straws first Grow, Having some troubles in Flowering!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Didn't know how to bold the title so I made it long for no reason instead ;)

Okay, so I'm starting the 3rd week of flower. I'm about half way through it today. I'm noticing on one or 2 of my small clones I threw in just to make up for the wasted space this grow, the leaves are getting weird. I've already had to deal with a Cal Mag problem because I buy Distilled water. But on one of my clones, the leaf looks like this, and it has a similair appearance on another. The OG Kush has this leaf deformity, which I think is nute burn. 20130501_221143.jpg20130501_221801.jpg20130501_221145.jpg20130501_221121.jpg20130501_221149.jpg20130501_221126.jpg

Which might make sense because they've only been in the Fox Farm Ocean soil for like 3 weeks, so the nutes should still be packed in it, for the most part. They liked the flowering nutes before, but I was using 1/4 strength on all my plants. Now I used full strength of a local hydro stores brand that totals something like 7-35-7 or something off hand memory. So I think it's nute burn, but it could be a PH lockout, I'm gonna use my $20 soil meter thing and find out the soil PH. If it's low, I'll flush it, but I'd just like confirmation on what I believe it to be by doing research. Or if I'm totally wrong. The leaf looks like this, dried up yellow/ brown and crumply you can imagine20130501_221819.jpg

On 2 of my big plants however, one being the runt, that had a SM infestation the worst, and got bad, but i've gotten it under control Im pretty sure with some Mighty wash, doctor doom, and Neem feeding/foliar spray treatment for the past week. It has leaves that are drying up and dying on the inside that are all brown. Any idea what that it? The plant itself looks lushes and green for the most part.

On my strongest plant however I just found a fan leaf that looks like this20130501_221828.jpg

On my DJ short blueberry however I'm getting the tip of the leave a dull matt gray on one or 2 leaves on the tip. The plant looks incredibly good, but just that one or 2 leaves lookes bad on the last 1 inch of the leaf.

Anyone able to help on each problem?

Temps are between 60-80 through the day and night. PH is what I should work on I suppose. Thanks mucho. I figured. But it's always better to hear it from a veteran.

So I completely flushed all the clones. This next watering I'm going to flush all of my big plants. Lets see how the clones react these next few days.

This is the deficiency showign on my DJ Short Blueberry.
Any idea what it is. I know I have a Nitrogen def on 1 plant, a potasium on another, nute burn on a clone or 2, and phosphorus on another plant or 2. But since they are fed uniformly, I think it's a lockout, since there shouldnt be so much deviation from all getting nutes at the same dose at the same time, should there? So Im gonna get some soil run off ph tomorrow when Im off work. If anyone has any ide on whats wrong with the blueberry, that'd be awesome. Its the one that looks the worst out of them all.

I use the ph dropper
Ffof soil
I have a local fert thats somewhere around 7-39-7
But I have GH Blood, and thrive
Bud candy
Big bud.
I was doing a really light, emphasis on light, to feed thrm with every angle and they were doing okay. Then I decided to stop that and go with 1 set. Switched to the 7-39-7 and now this is happening. Since noticing it about a week ago. I have layed off nutes I flushed them all, and have just been giving tap water that sat out for 24hrs, and checked the ph, and added calmag. I need a ppm and ph electric meter just done have the money right now. I have a 1k hps.

Yea definatly lay off the 7/39/7 do the water thing nsee if u get a difference. If u were doing ok before u may beable to switch back to light feeding. Also 1ks are pretty strong I had some real nice g13s start to turn yellow under my digilux hps I thought I had deficieny issues but turned out I was burning them up wit the light , upped my light n turned out a real good harvest.i also just use foxfarm trio along with open sesame n beasty blooms and mollasses for bulk n sugar build

But I'll move the light up anyways, couldn't really hurt. Higher up would still be more lumens than a 600w.

I' have been just using tap water, with cal mag the past 2 watering, and before that I flushed them with gallons of tap water, and now I noticed the problem starting to happen in all the plants kind of. I think it may have been she has super hard water? So Im back to buying Distilled water by the gallon again, which is okay by me, and adding normal feeding of calmag to the water for a week or 2, and see if that fixes anything. Here are some pictures I took yesterday.

Here's all the pictures. I'll update the pictures to the corresponding plant before today is over. I don't have time right now.

tbh, if this is your first grow, you are doing too much.
first lets start with the basics, you need to get a quality ph/ppm meter.

second, your next grow, you should start out with a soil less mix. atm you are using a soil based medium that has food already in it, that releases nutrients in intervals, and if you're not that good at reading plants, you are only going to do your plants more harm than good.

atm moment, i would suggest flushing the medium to offset any lockouts that you are currently having and from the looks of things, cal/mag and phosphorous seems to be the issue.

Every single one I look at I go to reviews and they all suck, and seems I have to recalibrate non stop which will be bothersome. I was looking at them though. I have stuck to just calmag and Distilled water now. I flushed hrm with the sink last week, and have just used tap and calmag since. I'm going to just use calmag and store bought distilled water now. Then the week after, if it clears up. I will start a light nute regiement.

Next grow I'll just grow 1 strain. I liked how Caramelicious, Red Dragon, AK-47, and white widow looked like for ease of grow. Gonna do 9 of 1 of those is 5gal superoot airpots, of cococoir. That way I control all the nutes and all. Do I pack it the same way I do soil, or less tight, or more tight in thr pots. As well as just using all distilled water next time. I'll pick up a Hannah(harris? Cant remember) ppm/ec and ph combo back to gauge it for sure. Unles someone can think of a better metter. Blue pen and the previous one I mentioned seem to be thr most popular.

i suggest getting a blue lab ph/ppm combo meter.

as for coco, if you do go with it, i'd suggest one or 3 gal air or smart pots. also, coco could be a little more trickier than than other soil less mixes. if anything try promix or light warrior.

It sounds like you are on the right track now. Those plants are over fed which is easy to do with ocean forest. I haven't had much luck with ph meters yet so I'm still using the old dependable drops. What's wrong with your tap water? If it is way too hard maybe you could just mix it 50/50 with distilled. I think they will come out of it soon if you just give them water for a while. good luck

Yeah, I saw that while reading about tap water, and think it's very true of hers. But to cut down on cost. Once I'm sure it's flushed and washed out. I'll do 50/50, and see how that works out. Maybe I'll save a few bucks.
