I am aware of 4 indicators: Swollen calyx, darkening and curling pistils, the color of trichomes (clear -> grey -> amber), the decaying of surrounding leaves. Did I miss any?
Now the main question I have here is what indicator is better if they aren't all sending the same signal?
For example a plant with decaying leaves and 95% darkened curled pistils but only about 5% amber trichomes or fewer and a 50/50 mix of swollen calyxes.
Also should a calyx ever turn brown itself or does that represent a problem?
