T5s for bonsai moms

So, I recently got rid of my large setup and an going back to small hobby growing. my plan now is to keep two small bonsai mother's, my two favorite strains. They will be kept in a 1'x3' area with limited vertical space. I've been looking at smaller T5s( currently use a two bulb , 28w light light for my cuttings). Since I'll only be flowering 1plant per round, I'll only be taking a few cuts every 2-3 months. I'm new to T5s, and have only used hid in the past. My question is what size T5 would work for keeping my bonsai mother's alive and healthy enough to give me few decent cuttings every few months?

Thanks

I've been looking at the 4 bulb fixtures but most of them are spec's at over 12" wide. My space is limited to a light no wider than 12. Actually , 12" would have the the light fixture touching the sides of my tent. There are likely ones available that are a bit narrower, I just haven't found them yet.

T5's are were its at for veg rooms. I love t5's for veg, they're great for vegging plants, clones and mothers. I have never used a metal halide for veg. When I started growing I got a t5 fixture for veg and a 1000w hps for flower and am so glad I did! I have kept a grape krush mom plant under a t5 for months and it was healthy as a horse. The best thing about t5s is you can keep them somewhat close to plants and it creates a very nice, tight node structure. I highly recommend them, and hey they're affordable to boot. I'm rocking a 24 bulb t5 setup in my veg grow tents, each bulb is 54w, I have two 4' 8/bulb fixtures and also another two 4' 4/bulb fixtures. Planning on getting another 8 bulb fixture this week because I'm running out of veg space...popped way to many seeds. They make some smaller fixtures(around 2') which will be good for you. Good luck!
