T-5 and seedlings

Whats up.

I have been using T-5s for veg for quite a while now with great success but am never quite sure what to do with my seedlings and freshly transplanted clones as far as distance to the light?? I try to give them some distance (6" or more) from the light but am now going to also try putting a few right up an inch or two under. Any suggestions on which works best??

I put mine about 3 inches from the light and they stay green and smile. Closer is better.

My seedling's go under 32w t-12 tubes! I run mine 3-4" above the canopy and have great success. I have never used t-5's for anything other than veg.

I use 3 55w compact T5's in my veg hood and I keep the lights 2" off the top of the plants once they put out their third set of leaves.
