Hey guys. I'm setting up for my first grow and was originally planning to do a basic Ebb & Flow system because it was more forgiving and low maintenance.
Now I'm starting to second guess that decision when doing more reading. It just sounds like some of the other systems may be higher performance and produce better yields.
Does anyone care to weight in on the subject?
I am now considering a home-made aeroponics system (like the one in the YouTube video mentioned on the forum). It's sounds cheap, easy to make and high performance. I was even thinking of putting two pumps on the system to make it more forgiving.
Does anyone know how loud the aeroponics systems are compared to an Ebb & Flow? The system will be in my bedroom closet and I really need to keep the noise at an absolute minimum...(for a variety of reasons) I also plan to scale the size of this system up when I move it into another room so keeping the work to a minimum would be nice.
Here's what I'm working with and the decisions I've made so far:
The closet is 7' x 5'
I've decided to go with two 600w HPS fixtures where I will veg and flower everything (same room for both). I have another spot for clones.
Like many others on here I'm simply looking to maximize the yield I can pull out of this space. Please tell me what you would do! Give details on the system and number of plants pls...
