My question is does switching lights to 11hours on 13 off increase or speed up maturity I have heard of this wanting to know if it is in beneficial.

Just stick to tried and true till you get this dialed in
There is no making them ripen quicker

What you make up in maturity you will definitely lose in yields..I wouldn’t bother unless you’re growing equatorial landrace sativas.
