swapping light period

hi all, i currently have my lights on from midday to middnight, in flowering period, it gets really hot in there during the day due to the room heat that the tent is in, can i simply turn my light period so that lights are on from midnight to midday, to ger rid of the heat, seeing as the shed isnt so hot at night.

...extend the dark period until you get to where you'd like to be. More them 12 hours of light could hermie them up, or could even make them go back into veg....so, give them one hell of a dark cycle, you'll be fine. I left a plant in 36 hours of total darkness once while in flower with no problems at all.

Yep turn your lights off for 24 hrs and switch your time around...I do it when the weather changes here....Never had a problem...Peace
