Survey; Would you buy a turn-key "Grow Shed" system?

Just trying to get an idea of how many people would be willing to purchase a turn-key "Grow Shed" operation if it were pre-manufactured?

I don't have any exact details, just an idea I was thinking of trying.....

It would be a wooden shed:
  • shingled or metal roof (not sure yet.)
  • Insulated
  • pre-wired (with outlets, switches and power supply box) could be hardwired or generated power.
  • Plumbing/water supply (just hook to garden hose).
  • Ventilated with carbon filtration and light baffles.
  • Air conditioned.
  • Retractable center divider for flower/veg.
  • With or without lights/ballasts
What would people be willing to spend on a system like this?
Would there be any interest at all?

Like I said, just a survey to see if it is worth trying or not.

somewhere where it is legal to grow like in europe maybe but i don't think many of us in the states would go out of our way to buy a premade shed.

There are a lot of turn key cabinet systems out there that go for well over 2000 a piece for the basic models. I have no idea how many units companies like that sell but I know there is obviously a market for it indoors. I thing your main problem with an outdoor shed would be shipping and air conditioning. Shipping anything over 500lbs is getting expensive with freight prices rising due to the crappy cost of diesel in the USA. Finally, in my area (mid-south USA) an outdoor shed would be over 100 degrees during the day most of the year my shed is 15ft by 13ft by 11ft tall and it is hot in there all the time.

You would be competing with Bc northern lights they have a turnkey automated box price is 3400 why would you want an outside shed when you can get a steel cabinet with fans lights timers etc just my opinion i do currently own a bloombox...I needed a discreet way to grow..

hmmmm. yeah bc northern lights systems have no heat signatures and are fully automated, newer ones can even send you text messages. stateside it has to be undetectable, and its hard to get a something like a shed delivered unnoticed.. hell my neighbors cant help but to stare at me when i go to the mailbox.. people cant mind they're business.

Ok, I guess it would be limited to individuals who live in the country....I live in northeastern U.S. where it seems everyone has a shed or two.

I live in the country, have neighbors several hundred yards from me but we use a shared driveway about 1/4 mile off the road. I work constantly out of my shed, neighbors, family, and friends have no idea.

My shed is 10x16 (if I remember correctly). I built a false wall inside that is identical to the back wall of the shed,my rolling toolbox covers the enterance into the back, then inside the room I divided it in half so I have two 5x5 rooms that are A/C'd. Then I have a central exhaust vent at the top (with a light baffle) to pull out the hottest air.

I only run the flower room at night and the veg room during the coolest 18 hours of the day, avoiding the afternoon heat. I have the A/C set to keep the air temp at 82 degrees give or take. I intake fresh air through the floor which acts somewhat like geo-thermal from ground temp.

I thought the entire shed could be put on an axle with a tounge,(if positioned correcly you would have very little tounge weight) and pulled home. The height would be well under the 13 ft regulation so you wouldn't need a permit to pull it home using a pickup.

Just a thought. ~Outlaw~

School bus, haha. If you have done much reading on fallout shelters you must have heard of Ark II.

edit;

Yeah forgot about the topic. That's a pretty cool idea to have it on wheels but as said shipping would kill you. Also you would want them pretty generic so people could paint and maybe choose their own shingles because you don't want them to be recognizable :D.

Oh...so I guess my idea of a giant Marijuana leaf on the top of each shed is out of the question...lol also the free "I {heart} weed" bumper sticker with every purchase. Rats! Another million dollar idea down the drain! Back to the drawing board.....lol.

All joking aside, I agree with the generic external appearance of the shed.
Thanks,
