Surge Protectors?

What do i need to know? I have a power strip that is completely filled up lights, fans, heater. I don't want it to blow..

The majority of power strips(in the us) are rated at least 15amps. I use tons of power strips in my grow.

I would try and limit the strip to 10A of a continuous current load to reduce the likelihood of a meltdown.

A power strip should have a breaker on it. If the breaker doesn't pop then you are fine.

I randomly check my plugs to make sure they aren't over heating.

They have built in surge protectors, mine pops every now an again, lose power

That means you are pushing it right to it's load limit.

Yeap my power board has a button that pops out and shutts me power off every now again
