superstar led arrived

howdy folks,

I went and got one of those supercloset things we love to hate..but I gotta tell ya, this thing is pretty sweet. (it should be for the price, right

Anyway, had some sprouts in soil and carefully washed em off, x-planted to cloning/veg upper chamber hydro-bubbler after pre-mixing the nuts and all, and man those sprouts are digging it. Am so relieved, thought I was gonna kill them. Well I guess they could still die, but at the moment, they are loving the hydro.

Just wanna say, the closet really did come in good condition, everything included, no problems etc. The 210w LED light (and I have no idea who makes it, probably a chinese-made no-brand thing) does have two green LED's out so I'm asking them about what we can do regarding that. Otherwise, everything arrived in perfect shape with all items included which is kind of amazing.

I'm an old fart, married, and this cabinet is exactly what I needed to smooth it out with the wife for growing personal medicine indoors. She wants half of the bottom chamber for her tomatoes over winter, lol.

Buy her some tomatoes at the store.

If she wants some indoor space for something legal I think it'd be easier just to diy a small cabinet then you're both happy enjoy your time on Riu

have to agree with that. setup one of those NSF chromed shelving units (2'x48" 6 feet tall), some 4 bulb T5s and some mylar. If you have south window space even better.
Great place to start seedlings of all sorts including your mj, since you can lower the T5s close to the seedlings.

thanks guys - I've been a lurker for a while and appreciate the info and tips so freely shared by the awesome folks here. I wish I had the gumption to make my own hydro grow box as nothing is better than doing your own work for sure.

I took the easy way out with this cabinet so I'm a little ashamed of that, but looking forward to just getting the job done and having a small personal harvest for my medicine. Luckily we live in the new legalized states for mj, but still want to keep it down-low as it is not something I generally want anyone else nearby or visiting to know.

The last two years an old injury has gotten a lot worse..I haven't smoked for many years but its coming time where I need something for the pain and ache, and I don't want to be prescribed narcotics.

Anyway, thanks guys - appreciate your posts a lot. My wife is 1/2 everything for me so I'm more than happy to give her the space for her tomatoes (they are really good hehe) but we'll see if she forgets lol. I think building her a box is a great idea now that a working example is in front of me.

Hey Yip how'd everything turn out since your Superstar arrived? Looking to get the same exact setup. Anything you'd recommend? Can that number of mature plants actually work in such a small space? Is it quiet and a have acceptable odor control? Thanks in advance if you get around to answering
