supersoil cal/mg problems!!!!

So I'm running my first batch of supersoil (no TGA gear yet) but for the most part they are looking great, but I seem to be having some sort of cal/mg deficiency. I am running tap water filtered by a hydrologic tall boy sediment/carbon filter, and new growth has been stunted and is coming out all spindly and lime green/yellowing and lower leafs are yellowing with green veins...I have watered once with 1 tbl spoon epsom salts per gal and am now waiting for them to dry out so I can make my next move, I have heard this prob before with RO but never without...Im thinking maybe I have too MUCH cal that could be locking out Mg?? Im stumped Don't want to give Cal/mg if it will make it worse...any help greatly appreciated...

P.S. can't tell if thats some nute burn from the SS as well....

Need more info. What watt are you running? Your tops look good and green I take it the yellow leaves are from the bottom. Post some full pics of your plant and people prob could help you more, Its nice to see the whole plant bottom to top too get an idea what could be going on.

plants are outside, they look fine from afar you have to get in close to see the damage, the new leaves are coming out very spindly and thin and the bottom leaves are crisping up...Here are some pics from afar not sure how that will help haha

sorry didn't mean to be a dick, check my journal in my sig for all pics, thanks man

i think it was probably only burned from the s.s.
but then u added the extra calcium, thinkin that was the problem and locked up the magnesium

Well I never really thought i was low on calcium because Im not running RO, that is why I gave them epsom instead of cal/mg...I did a small experiment I watered 2 with 1 tbl/gal epsom and 2 with 5ml/gal cal/mg and left all the others alone...I guess I will see what works?? Also read molasses has trace minerals including Mg in it?? anyone?? but they are prob burnt from the SS, theres not much I can do about that at this point I'm guessing ya??

im not sure what all molasses has in it...i know that it feeds the microbes in ur soil, and thats good
anyways idk if u can do anything about the s.s.,unless u wanna repot into something less intense

ya, not sure what to do, this whole grow was based around trying sub's supersoil, everything I transplanted was rootbound in at least a 1 gal bucket with a really full healthy root system?? And there was at least a few inch buffer of plain bag soil..Not sure guess I'm just gonna ride it out...

Mabey cut your super soil with more soil next time so its not as hot. Theres a guy on here who is currently growin in straight ss . He did this by accident he didnt read how to layer the soil . BUT HE IS HAVING AMAZING RESULTS. Check out Stonedmetalhead,s grow !Sub even commended him personally !
