Hi guys was wondering if i have anything to worry about with leaving roots from plants in my setup. Basically i had six plants in two buckets started flowering and three turned out to be male. When i cut out the males the roots had grown together in the five gallon buckets i have my dwc setup in. So has anyone ever had any problems with leaving roots in the bucket or foresee a problem with it. I only want to remove them if absolutely necessary because im probably gonna have to cut them out the roots are really stuck together. Thanks in advance guys. Pic is before i cut down the males. Its about 4-5 weeks of veg they were 24-16 inches tall which was very strange because they all had the exact same conditions from day one oh well all plant are different i guess.

Dead roots are generally not a problem.
The ground is full of dead roots.
The problem will come if you let the temp get above 68º
Adding an enzyme may help.
Sensizyme or hygrozyme are both expensive.
I think Sensizyme is cheaper per dose.
Frequent rez changes will help also.
I have grown plants in dwc this way,
just keep the rez temps cool.
Keeping the nute loads low will increase DO and help your grow.
