Hello everyone!! I have a problem with my lighting, i went to the ponics store yesterday and picked up the splitter by sunpulse and 2 600watt 4k bulbs to convert my 1000w ballast. I got them cuz i was running at like 84 degrees in the grow room and wanted to get it lower towards 80ish or less. So I have 3 hps lights 2x600 and 1x1000 and was gonna convert the 1000 ballast and replace the 1000 watt bulb and one of the 600s. The people told me i can use 4k bulbs to get through flower, and that it works perfectly and the company didn't have any more 3k bulbs. If you go to sunpulses website this is supposed to be a new technology, and they still offer these bulbs. I already got screwed so no point in crying now. BUT i was wondering should i split my ballast and run these lights anyways? or should i keep my 1000 and 600w hps till i can afford the 3k bulbs. Obviously it's not a fair comparison cuz i'm running 600 more watts with the hps lights. but what do you guys think? is the 4k bulb a winner or should i just shut my mouth, suck it up and keep at it with the 1000w in there??? thanks any help is appreciated.
