sunlight

I am growing with sunlight and cfls I get about 7 hours sunlight and the rest with cfl I have so many fan leaves on the bud I try tucking them do you think the sun is penatrating them good and is using the sun better then a hps light. I am in 5th week of flowering when can I start taking some of the leaves off

You don't need to take the leaves off because they are what is making the bud. The bud itself can't complete the photosynthesis process. So just let them be until you trim.
