Sun in day and hps at night

Putting my plants outside during day hours then 600 w hps at night better then just hps whole time ? right temps outside range from 74-84 nice humidty

So you have 24/0 light on them? Interesting veg routine. I'll be interested in your results.

If you can harden off from the sun and keep the bugs away then you'll be fine. Imo, stick to 18/6 when you use high powered bulbs or the sun. 24/0 is only really beneficial with cfl's. Where im from, 2 trips outside would probably fuck my whole indoor grow lol

Yes hes saying with the sun plus 600w in his opinion 24 hours is a bit intense.

Cfls are typical for 24 hour veg because they dont get very hot is the primary reason, but it all depends really on how many cfls you are using and the light output in wattage plus lumans.

Let your girl rest a couple hours a day sounds good to me too. Im a CFL veg'er myself. I like the 24 hour runs off CFL. Cheap with good results. 400w hps to flower though. One lady at a time.

Thats what light burn does and its the Devil himself. I caught it quick but once its there it takes a toll. Light burn in veg ive never seen. This was my mistake as i wasnt thinking to raise my lights after getting a brand new 400w hps. Took

Anyone have a prefference of mh 600w or vivosun 600w hps I'm in veg I have heard mh cos of blue but also heard don't matter at all and hps even out performing and being more cost effective

That looks like nute burn, not light burn, light burn will burn buds and bleach nugs.

It did turn white . I knew right away what it was. As soon as i saw the devils eyes themself in those white tips the first time in my life...
At first it was cool to see this plant was just another learning curve with different knowledge....
...but right after that stupid ass thought i said "Fuck!" "Damn!" "How fucking high do you want it?"
Then she played games on me just like the bratty lil slut she is. She knows i love her but .... Smh "now I gotta give her this, no no she wants that..."
So like any good grower would do i gave her everything i knew she wanted at that time.

In a small space i always rotate my plant to keep things even. Its also as compact as i can get it with one plant. (temps, air blah blah)
Everything in her middle receives the exact same proportion of light with every turn and buds just shot through because of how much light makes it all the way through down to,...well all of it.
She had a small bud grow at the bottom of the stalk lol.
At first i saw her friends i was like....
"Damn you just gonna bring all your friends in? Ok thats pretty cool. Lets grow then..."
But after a while i was like....
"Alright you need to calm down i cant tie anymore of your friends down im out of room. Its fun and all but you need to stop."
She stopped once every bud was near the same height.
The friends caused trouble, but i was blind. Truth be told i fucked up with my lighting.

Before the light burn she suffered a small ph deficiency displaying yellow leafs at the bottom. I believe as soon as she seemed to recover from ph, light burn kicked in, or had just started taking its effect. As i saw upper leafs starting to yellow but were perfoming what i am calling now

Light burn is not just another deficiency. Its the Devil or the fucking grim reaper for a grower. You get to play Dr. and save a plants life.
It sickens any other problem(s) you may have going on. In my case it i guess i got lucky in seeing it soon enough. Pics below...

But yeah she looks like trash at 8 weeks into flowering because of those two deficiencie. All . The brown leafs up top had been touched by death and pluck right off now. Killed all of each leaf to a crispy peice that i get to pluck off for hours in a week or two.

Not sure why the white went away visually but i know it did hurt this girl. Wont know how bad until i inhale her in about a month.

Until later on in goig with 600 watt HP's and 191 watt of CFL for three plants in 4x4x6.5 later will add my 300watt led. Hps is at 17.25 inches and CFLs about 2.25 inch. When I get the LED it will also be at 17.25 inches and at that time I'll add another 69 Watts of CFL too. Gonna veg for 17 days under 20/4 then switch to 18/6 and mh 600watt for three weeks then after three weeks flip to 12-12 and put Vivo sun hps 600 watt again and flower entire time with the hps. What do y'all think

Thats too much for me to comprehend at the moment. Lol apologies,...
but the way to best figure this out properly for every square foot of space in your grow box or small room.
Know how many lumans your bulbs put off. In order to imitate the sun you will want 10,000 lumans per square foot.
Theres watts and shit too but i really dont get in to all that.
Then i think its like 115 watts per square foot or something. i focus on lumans and figure im alright.
Take a count for how close your reflection is manly and have it bouncing back at your plant willout lolly gaggin to get there.
