Success!!

So ive been out of weed for several days now and been scraping kief off of old mason jars that i use for bud storage at harvest time. All the while ive had a one gallon bag (ziplock) half filled with trim and sugar leaves and stems. So i made a DIY Hash "tumbler" thing with a mason jar, a dollar store panty hose set and a few hydroton balls and a penny.

I put about a 1/4 jar of trim etc into the jar along with the hydroton balls and penny.
then i slid the panty hose over that and the outer lid ring of the mason jar screwed in place leaving a nylon barrier where the opening is.
then i placed over the plate and shook away.


with a half gallon bag i got a lot more than i was expecting! in the picture its a little green due to the panty hose but the green flecks are tiny. it takes a very small amount to get me high as a kite! the amount is on the razor in the picture. with my vaporizer it hits like a bomb in the end, incredibly smooth, strong, very flavorful and is very cost effective!

havent got any advice but thats a story that warms my heart, i run out yesterday then found a stash can with an 1/8 in which i had put away for just this occasion man im happy.

Hell yeah teddy! i love stumbling upon a dropped nug or the like! especially a hidden 8th!

I love hash only made it once from some sugar leaves and old bud but it was worth it.

Well worth it at that! I've smoked many times today and looks like I've barely touched the pile.

yeah except my brothers friend is a douchebag for the msot part, so i didnt let him forget that on his way out haha

Maybe if you used a 2nd layer of nylon, it would've been a little more fine.
Just a thought. That's a Damn good idea. Where you guys getting the hydro balls?

i did this once before to make kief, very cost effective and just plain old effective, especially in a pinch.

hey i dont mind if its hash or weed, i much prefer weed but just had to buy 1/2 oz of hash as mine are still a couple of weeks off, any port in a storm ay, super harsh on my throat though have to keep puttin bong in the freezer.

put ice in the bong. before i had my ice catching bong what i would do is empty the bong, fill the chamber halfway with ice, and then slowly pour cold water over it. nice icy water. if you're worried about ice chunks breaking your downstem you can crush it up a little first. the water melts it down a lot anyway.

thanks for the tip, i stupidly filled it to the top with ice cubes while stoned, looked down after bout half an hour zoning out at tv there was a big puddle on the coffee table dripping onto the floor where they had melted and overflowed out of finger/air hole, what a tool! dunno what it is about hash but it just cripples me.
