Stupid question

Why is there bagseed? If you grow, and kill the males so you dont pollenate the females, so you harvest un-pollenized female plants, why are there working seeds in the weed you buy? I know this is a STUPID QUESTION, and I will get some asshole responses, but I honestly don't know, call me dumb.

They come in brick weed. They donot pull the mails out. The more it weighs the more $ they get for it.

when someone grows 1000 plants they dont have time to weed out the males, also they really dont care about quality, they just want to get this crop out and the next one started. if everyone grew their own there would never be midgrades, unless a retard grew, or you pollenated for seed production that is...

Hi,

Even in small grows, seeds can be a likely occurrence. There are a number of scenarios that could make this happen. The most likely is the transfer of pollen. This can come from your exposure to other male plants, pot that has male flowers on it, or you could have a plant herm out and produce pollen right there in your room. The reason pollinated plants generally are allowed to live is because when a plant become pollinated, the whole plant itself doesn't begin producing seeds, only the pollinated buds do. And if you had a small grow that you relied on for an income, you would not chop down a plant with a few seeds here and there.

Ahhh! If only everybody paid as much attention to what they did as I do!
Commercial growers aren't gourmet growers, they don't give the same kind of "TLC" to each and every plant - so "Shit Happens!".
Even people who are trying to be careful, often come up with 1 or 2 seeds. Pollen can, and does, become airbourne and there's not much you can do about that!

I find seeds quite often in crops that have come from feminised seed's as they have a tendancy to turn hermi very easily. But when I have a crop from regular seeds, no seeds in my babies. So know I dont cut corners and just use reg seeds as I have never had a feminised seed not show some hemi tendancies.

I have a giant tree in my backyard and 1 or 2 of the buds look like they may have been pollinated....could be there is a ball sack hanging deep inside there that I can't see or it could have floated over from some one else's grow. Am I going to kill my tree because it might produce a few seeds in the pound of killer bud it has the potential to produce...hell no! So it's not always large scale grow ops...sometimes a few seeds just happen.
