Stupid question: Would honey work??

i disagree with the last guy. thats whats in the molasses that makes it so beneficial to the plant. the sugars/carbohydrates reacts with bacteria to help them thrive. its bacteria that are very beneficial to the plant. i would say that it might be alright. probably along the same likes as molasses. but i would think that this has been tried before and molasses has prevailed. but who knows its worth a shot.

Im quite sure molasses doesnt directly make the plant taste better, its like 420 said, molasses is like a super carb for the plants. Honey has ltos of sugar too but it probabaly wouldnt work as efficiently as molasses, because honey is made by bees, and molasses is straight from sugar cane(its purer)

in a way, yes. its like eating a bowl of pasta before a sports game, you do it to get the carbohydrates(energy). Molasses is like giving your plants a giant bowl of pasta.
