Studio lights???

hey whats happening guys got a question wonderin if you guys could help me out i found a studio light in my garage its pushin 1000 watts 26500 lumens and 2400 kelvin i think i dont know what spectrum but im wondering if this will work for vegging and mabe flowering? ive done some outdoor grows but this will be my first big indoor grow so any help would be awesome thanks guys

You're talking about a photography/film lamp, right? That's incandescent technology at it's finest, huge filaments that suck up major amounts of juice only to burn super hot!

Your girls would be OK with the light except they'd burn to death before you could get it close enough. Also, you'll save A LOT more money if you buy a HID lamp and use a fraction of the electricity to generate much more light.

Yeah studio lights put out loads of heat and 1000w watts and only 26500 lumens? I got 400w hps and get 50000 lumens.

exactly what i was thinking man, 1000 watts and only 26500 lumens!?
