stretching kush

hi guys i had to go away for a week or so and left a m8 watching my girls 6 dinafem kush under a 400 mh
i asked him too lower my hood so i could keep my internodes tight. but he never lowered the hood so plants
have stretched a fair bit. now can i take cuttings from the stretched branch to the next node than get 2 new
shoots.allowing me to control the stretch and full the plant out. all advice more than welcome.

You can certainly top a plant and then tighten the nodes after. Where and when you top it will dictate how many tops you get.

In my experience most kush strains I've grown respond VERY well to topping right above the second true node.
