ok so its a long story on why i let this girl stretch so much, but i need some advice on what to do. You can see I tied it down, but its still stretching. I'm 3 weeks and 3 days into flower. The picture where you can see my thumb, from there up will bend on the glass of the light if I don't tie it down a little. I'm scared to top it or super crop so late into flower but will if I can. Any help would be awesome, thanks everyone.

A bit late to do anything now, you should of caught it sonner, you could tie the top as suggested and gradually pull it down more and more over the next few days .

Not sure how strong your light is, but just pinch the plant a couple feet blow the light. Pinch and roll the stem gently till it gives and bends. Do this on the main stem so the whole top of the plant bends. This will solve your problem, but the plant will need support - like stakes to hold it up, and or strings tied to your hood. The bud will be fine.

Should have asked this question a long time ago. 3 weeks and 3 days.... I believe the stretch is almost over.

Not trying to be a douche but have you always had the light on the top of the tent? I don't grow sativa tho as they stretch like mad with some strains.

I realize that I should have done more early on...that's why i said earlier there's a long story as to why I let it stretch so bad...

Coho...No i haven't had the light on top the whole time. I kept raising it as the plant grew.

CaptainCAVEMAN...I went with your idea and it seems to be working well for now, thanks bro.

What size light are you using? Seems to have either been wrong spectrum or underpowered? I know sativas stretch and all, but that is a bit extreme if you are using proper lighting.

Lol @ luke when I glanced at ur post I thought it said I hate stretchy slaves, and I was gonna say if I had a flexible slave that would BE AWESOME!!!!! Anyways, I've heard from another grower that when a grow room gets too hot that can cause plants to stretch is this true?

IMHO...... bin em. Too far gone and yield will be a nice big bag of popcorn. Hard to do but euthenise the scrawny fooka. Get yourself a big fat bird, they give much better head, sorry 'bud'. Treat em mean and keep em keen and they will behave much better.

I would bin them too.

Start again proper with some 8 week indica's or at least throw in some 12/12 from seed plants immediately.
