Strange Node Development

I cloned these plants from flowering females (my other clones didnt do well) I have been mystified at the leaf shape at the newest point of growth. I have asked many people what is going on in this picture and NOBODY knows!!! please help me my rollitup comrades...your my only hope..:?:

i'm categorically not an expert on this stuff, but that leaf shape looks a lot like what happened to a few of my ganja dwarves this summer:

they were unhealthy little runts from seed and the only ones that survived (out of 5) were males anyway. stuck them outside in to see how they'd do and they started sprouting leaves just like yours only smaller. crazy fish man.
i put it down to unstable genetics cause they were ruderalis crosses, but tbh i have no idea why this happened, only that it did.

I got a good idea what it looks like. You said it was a clone from a female in flower. I did the very same thing. They took what seemed forever to root but when the new growth came in they look just like that. I am a mmj patient and am legal so I took a growing class. I asked my teacher what I had on my hands and he said it's cool it will starighten out it is just re-vegging its self. So your cool give it time. Just be careful with nutrients. Hope this answers your question. Hope to hear more on this thread.

So did they produce a decent flower or did they turn out subpar?

they both finished the life cycle as it were, males though so i pretty much ignored them. they did flower but they were right scabby looking. the leaves didn't normalise again as they grew though, stayed that weird way right to the end. if i was you i'd take these guys (mcpurple and big c) and ignore my plants, seems to be a clones trend, and mine were pretty much just insane to begin with

ive had this happen quite frequently when taking cuttings from actively flowering plants. like bigc, ruderalis and mcpurple said just give it time. cannabis is supposed to die after it produces seed, so it tends to stop worrying about leaf production. just look at the tiny leaves that grow out of your nugs - most are a small single or triple blade.
youll need to veg for a at least a month before it gets back into a proper veg cycle and all new growth starts looking normal. just be patient and dont flip it before shes ready as you will end up with very small and probably gross yield. might be a good idea to veg her and cut clones off her.
